Lego® Social Skills Development Group Facilitator Training
The LEGO®-Based Social Skills Development Program is a collaborative, play-based social skills intervention for children on the autism spectrum and other conditions impeding their ability to recognize and relate to social cues.
Collaborative play with the Lego® system provides opportunities for children to practice skills such as turn-taking, listening, sharing ideas, communication, compromising, problem solving and shared attention. Groups are run by trained facilitators and children are encouraged to build together within set roles.
LEGO®-based programs are suitable for use in schools, health-care facilities, and community settings. Dyan offers full day facilitator training workshops for professionals wishing to run groups.

"Dyan supported us with a training session for Lego Social Skills building group. It was fantastic and all the participants appreciated the shared knowledge to support the youth we work with. Our district is currently running groups in the schools with the training provided by Dyan. I have personally facilitated groups, past and present, from training with Dyan, with positive outcomes. I am requesting another training for those school staff that did not receive and an update for others. Such a great program!"
